Which EasyCommerce this review is about

This matters, because Google itself gets confused. Search “easycommerce review” and the first page mixes at least five different companies.

  • EasyCommerce (easycommerce.dev). The WordPress plugin this review covers. An AI-native store builder, free at its core.
  • Easy Commerce (easycommerce.pk). An e-commerce training company in Pakistan. Nothing to do with WordPress. Most of the complaints you find online are about this one.
  • easycommerce.tech. A Spanish B2B commerce platform. Google actually uses it to answer the question “What is easycommerce?”
  • Ease Commerce. A product listed on Gartner and SoftwareAdvice.
  • EASY Ecommerce. A US agency with a profile on Clutch.

If you landed here looking for any of those four, this is not the page you want. This review is about the WordPress plugin listed on WordPress.org as EasyCommerce – Agentic AI Ecommerce & Online Store Builder.

The short version

EasyCommerce is a free WordPress e-commerce plugin built around AI agents. Its core is genuinely free, with zero transaction fees. Its selling point is not “AI writes your product descriptions”, which every plugin claims now. It is that its AI agent can complete a sale on its own, through a conversation, including creating the order and generating a payment link.

It is also a very young plugin. WordPress.org shows 40+ active installations as of 13 July 2026, with a 4.7/5 rating across 13 reviews. That number is the single most important thing to know before you commit a store to it. So: genuinely interesting technology, a real free tier, and an ecosystem that barely exists yet.

What is EasyCommerce and who is it for?

A modern alternative to WooCommerce

EasyCommerce is a powerful, lightweight solution designed to simplify order, product and customer management.

It’s a full-featured WordPress e-commerce plugin based on an API-first architecture, guaranteeing fast performance and a clear user interface.

The aim: to offer fluid use and considerable time savings, without drowning in technical settings.

Affiliate link. If you buy through it, schoolsWP earns a commission at no extra cost to you. It changes nothing in what I write, above or below.

Who is this plugin for?

EasyCommerce is for anyone looking for a simple, effective solution:

  • Freelancers and WordPress designers who want to manage their sales without the hassle;
  • Small businesses who want a fast, clear and secure online store;
  • Infopreneurs selling digital products, training or services;
  • WordPress agencies looking for a turnkey solution with no hidden subscriptions.
Tip

Good to know: EasyCommerce ships official integration addons for FluentCRM, Mailchimp, HubSpot, Klaviyo, Zendesk and Slack, so you can automate customer management and marketing without leaving WordPress.

Key EasyCommerce features (and what they mean in concrete terms)

The AI Shopping Agent can close a sale by itself

This is the part every other review skips, and it is the whole point of the plugin. Most plugins that say “AI” mean a button that writes a product description. EasyCommerce does that too, but its actual differentiator is the Shopping Agent: it chats with your customer, searches your catalogue, filters by attributes like size or colour, checks stock, creates the order and generates a payment link. The whole flow happens in conversation, on your storefront and through Facebook Messenger, 24 hours a day. WhatsApp support is announced through the WhatsApp Business API.

  • AI Shopping Agent, which searches the catalogue, checks stock, creates the order and generates a payment link
  • AI Store Copilot, a natural-language store admin that also acts (stock updates, refunds)
  • AI Content Writer for product descriptions
  • AI Image Generator and AI Image Editor, for visuals from a prompt, background removal and style transformation
  • AI Smart Search, intent-based, with typo correction
  • Multi-Channel Agent for Facebook Messenger and WhatsApp
  • AI Template Builder, AI Attribute Generator and the Luna Help Assistant in the dashboard

The publisher claims to be “the only WordPress ecommerce plugin with a built-in AI agent that completes sales through chat”. I cannot verify that across the whole market, so I report it as their claim. But I have not found another WordPress plugin doing it.

The Store Copilot acts, it does not just answer

On the admin side, the Store Copilot takes natural-language instructions. It answers questions about your store data, and it also performs actions: updating stock, issuing refunds. That is the “agentic” part of “Agentic AI”. It is not a chatbot bolted onto a dashboard.

How AI credits actually work

Nobody answers this question properly, and it is one of the most asked. So here is the real answer, from the publisher’s own pricing page. The AI runs on a credit balance tied to your EasyCommerce account. You do not need an OpenAI key, or any third-party API key. The costs:

  • Shopping Agent and Store Copilot: 1 credit per conversation turn.
  • Image generation or editing: 50 credits per operation.
  • Monthly allowance included: 1,000 credits on Personal, 3,000 on Professional, 8,000 on Agency.

What this means in practice: conversations are cheap, images are expensive. A thousand credits is a lot of chat turns, or twenty generated images. Budget accordingly. Note too that the free core plugin does not include AI credits. The AI is the paid layer.

Concrete impact: users save time while improving the consistency and performance of their store.

Product, order and customer management

  • create physical, digital, subscription or licensed products;

Tip

This all-in-one e-commerce solution centralizes everything: payments, coupons, deliveries, taxes and emails.
No dependence on external extensions.

Fast performance and architecture

Thanks to its API-first base, EasyCommerce offers fast loading times and a fluid experience for both user and administrator.

Compatible with Kadence, Blocksy, Astra and GeneratePress, the plugin guarantees fast, SEO-optimized navigation. Its streamlined architecture makes it one of the most powerful e-commerce solutions on the WordPress market.

Emails and automatic reminders

The plugin integrates a complete system for abandoned cart reminders, customer notifications, PDF invoices and email marketing campaigns. Each message can be customized from the interface, without the need for any code, and can be integrated into your customer loyalty strategy.

Ease of use and clear interface

One of EasyCommerce’s greatest strengths is its ease of use.
Installation, configuration and creation of your first store take less than 10 minutes.

The learning curve is virtually non-existent, thanks to an intuitive interface, guided wizards and settings accessible to all. It’s a solution designed to support users with no prior technical experience.

EasyCommerce pricing in 2026: what it actually costs

Annual plans

All plans include upgrades, priority support and a 30-day money-back guarantee.

The lifetime option

For agencies and freelancers who want to avoid a subscription, EasyCommerce sells lifetime licences: one payment, no renewal. The prices below were verified on the official pricing page on 13 July 2026, during a 50% promotion.

  • $249.99 for 1 store (regular price $499)
  • $624.99 for 10 stores (regular price $1,249)
  • $999.99 for 100 stores (regular price $1,999)

Every lifetime licence includes all current and future features, lifetime premium support, lifetime addon access, and the same 30-day money-back guarantee.
There is also a separate All Inclusive addon bundle, which unlocks all 30 addons: $625 once (regular $1,250), or $249 per year (regular $499).

Tip

My take on the lifetime deal: on paper it is the best value on the page. But a lifetime licence is only worth it if the publisher lasts, and EasyCommerce shows 40+ active installations on WordPress.org (checked 13 July 2026). On schoolsWP I would stay on the annual plan while the plugin is this young. It leaves me a way out.

Advantages and limitations according to users

Strengths

  • A genuinely free core, with zero transaction fees on your sales
  • An AI agent that can close a sale in chat, on your storefront and through Facebook Messenger, 24 hours a day
  • No OpenAI key to manage, because the AI credits come from your EasyCommerce account
  • Payment gateways built in, including Stripe, PayPal, Mollie, Square, Braintree and cash on delivery
  • WooCommerce migration works today, importing products, orders, customers, coupons, categories and attributes with no downtime
  • Clear interface and fast setup, with guided wizards
  • Official WPBakery integration addon
  • 30-day money-back guarantee on every paid plan

Weak points

  • 40+ active installations on WordPress.org (checked 13 July 2026). This is the headline risk. Very few people have hit the edge cases before you.
  • The AI is the paid layer. The free core does not include AI credits.
  • No native pre-order or backorder management.
  • The ecosystem is 30 addons. WooCommerce has thousands of extensions.
  • Page builder support is partial. Gutenberg is native, but Elementor, Bricks and Divi are still in development.
  • No multi-vendor marketplace.
  • The admin interface is only partially translated.
Note

Updates are frequent and missing features arrive quickly.

Two things are worth pulling out of that table. WooCommerce is free: its core costs nothing, and the bill only grows with the extensions you add. And SureCart’s free plan takes 1.9% of your sales, where EasyCommerce and WooCommerce take nothing. On a store doing $50,000 a year, that is $950 that stays in your pocket.

Who each one is still right for

A comparison that only pushes one tool is a sales page, not a review. So here is the honest split.

WooCommerce is still the right choice if you need a mature ecosystem, a specific niche integration, a large catalogue with complex logistics, a multi-vendor marketplace, or the reassurance of millions of stores having hit the bugs before you. It remains the reference, and nothing in this review changes that.

SureCart is still the right choice if you want a checkout that is managed for you, and you are comfortable with your checkout living outside your WordPress. Its free plan is a genuinely easy way to start, as long as you accept the 1.9% fee on your sales.

EasyCommerce is worth your time if you want AI that actually sells, you want to stay fully self-hosted, you want zero transaction fees, and you can accept the risk of a very young plugin.

Should you adopt EasyCommerce in 2026?

If you want a fast, AI-native e-commerce plugin and you can live with a very young ecosystem, the answer is yes. Here is what EasyCommerce gets right :

  • powerful solution,
  • intuitive interface,
  • affordable price,
  • and smooth operation with no external dependencies.

🚫 To be reserved, however, for classic stores (not yet ideal for marketplaces or complex B2B models).

Note

On my schoolsWP test bench, EasyCommerce is the most convincing AI-native e-commerce plugin I have tried this year: fast, all-in-one, and genuinely built around its AI agent.
It is also a very young plugin. That trade-off is the whole point of this review.
